Auvik Integration with ServiceNow CMDB
Auvik now integrates with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using the Service Graph Connector for Auvik. This integration automates the synchronization of Auvik’s network device inventory with ServiceNow’s CMDB to help IT teams maintain accurate configuration data for governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The integration includes a guided setup in ServiceNow for connecting to Auvik via API credentials, mapping Auvik tenants to ServiceNow Companies and Locations, and configuring which device classes to sync. It supports out-of-the-box defaults for quick deployment, with optional customizations for Configuration Item class mapping, field mapping, and scheduling using ServiceNow tools.

Improved Notification Channel Association in Alerts v2
We’re making it easier to manage how your notification channels are connected to alerts in Auvik’s Alerts v2.
- Simplified site association: When creating or editing an alert definition at the global site or a multi-site, you can specify which sites a notification channel applies to. This reduces the extra steps needed to configure notifications for specific sites. Click Associate with Sites under the notification channel selection dropdown to select the custom list of sites. By default, the current site and its children are selected.
- Bulk alert association: In Manage Alerts → Alerts v2, you can associate a single notification channel with multiple alert definitions at once. This makes it faster to support new notification channels across your alerts. Select the alert definitions you want to add notification channels to and click the Add Notification Channel button. This will let you select a notification channel and which sites it should apply to.
These enhancements streamline how you connect alerts to notification channels.
