How to create additional Auvik connections for Auvik - ServiceNow CMDB integration?

We recommend using the default connection. If you need to create a new Auvik API connection, follow these steps:

1. In ServiceNow, navigate to CMDB Workspace.
2. Click on SGC Central.
3. Navigate to All Connections.
4. Click on Create Connection.
5. Select Auvik as the connector.
6. Enter a unique Connection Name.
7. Update the Connection URL with the correct Auvik region.

8. Leave the Name as Auvik Basic Credentials.
9. Enter the Auvik API credentials in Auvik User Name and API Key.
10. Click Create and test connection. The system will attempt to connect to the Auvik API — this may take a few moments. Once complete, the page refreshes automatically to display the test results.

• The connection is successful if the HTTP Status is 200.
• If you see an Error Code or Error Message, the connection failed and additional troubleshooting is required. For troubleshooting API connections, see How do I troubleshoot issues using the Auvik API?.

11. Click Continue. This will create data sources and scheduled data imports associated with the new connection.
12. Click Continue to complete the process.

Note: The Auvik tenant mapping, device class sync rules, and device sync settings are shared across all Auvik connections.
