Aurora Troubleshooting Assistance (Open Beta)
When a network alert fires, Aurora now provides possible causes and step-by-step troubleshooting guidance tailored to the specific device and issue.Availability: During Open Beta, Aurora Troubleshooting Assistance is available only to all customers, including those on the Essentials, Basic, and Core plans. When it becomes Generally Available, it will only be available on Performance and a new tier of the Auvik IT Management product.
Feedback: Users can rate Aurora’s troubleshooting suggestions with a "Thumbs up" or "Thumbs down." This feedback goes directly to our product team to help us continuously improve Aurora’s accuracy and troubleshooting depth.
Download Conversations: Entire conversations can be download in markdown for use in external systems and documentation.
Improved
Modernized date picker and calendar UI
We refreshed the date picker across Auvik Network Management to make date and time selection clearer. The new UI explicitly shows the selected time in the calendar header and aligns with Auvik’s modern design standards. This helps teams navigate historical data with better precision and fewer mis-clicks.Individual Tx/Rx interface alerting
We improved interface utilization alerts to calculate Tx or Rx - this will result in more useful and more accurate alert triggers. Due to this change, actively open interface utilization alerts will be closed so they can be re-evaluated against the new alert definition.ServiceNow Australia release compatibility
Auvik’s ServiceNow integrations are now officially certified for compatibility with the ServiceNow Australia release family. This ensures your integration remains aligned with ServiceNow’s current release cadence.
Fixed
Alert banner visibility
We fixed an issue where onboarding banners for SNMP configuration and missing credentials were not appearing for some new client setups. These banners are now correctly displayed at the top of the dashboard to help guide technicians through the initial discovery process.
Coming Soon
-
Device Inventory Report
We are targeting a July launch for our visual, presentation-ready Device Inventory Report. It will provide a global inventory summary across multiple sites, with built-in graphs and PDF export capabilities to improve visibility into assets, vendor/model sprawl, and SNMP coverage - making it easier to prepare for reviews and audits in seconds.
-
Remote Terminal Assist (Open Beta)
Aurora will be available directly inside Remote Terminal, helping you get AI-assisted CLI guidance without leaving your terminal workflow. With Remote Terminal Assist, you can describe what you want to do in natural language and receive vendor-aware CLI command suggestions. You can also share terminal output with Aurora to help identify issues, anomalies, and relevant next steps.Remote Terminal Assist can help reduce time spent searching vendor documentation, support faster troubleshooting, and make it easier to work across unfamiliar CLI environments.

Aurora Troubleshooting Assistance with TrafficInsights flow data (Open Beta)
Aurora Troubleshooting Assistance will incorporate TrafficInsights flow data when it is relevant.
By combining flow data with existing alert, topology, device, performance, and syslog information, Aurora can provide richer troubleshooting context to help identify the network activity that may be contributing to an issue, such as a large file transfer or unusually high traffic between hosts.
This enhancement helps reduce manual investigation by automatically using TrafficInsights data when it is relevant to Aurora's analysis.
