      • New Hyper-V Hypervisor Dashboard with Unified Troubleshooting Views

We’ve introduced a new Hyper-V hypervisor dashboard to give you better visibility into your virtual infrastructure. Customized specifically for Hyper-V environments, this dashboard includes everything available in the standard server dashboard—plus additional Hyper-V-specific insights. What You’ll See (When WMI is Enabled)

        • Virtual Machine Inventory
        • Number of Virtual CPUs

These views provide a clear picture of your VM environment and topology, making it easier to:

        • Track virtual machine status
        • Understand host-to-VM relationships
        • Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues more effectively

Note: WMI must be configured to access these views.

      • Advanced Alerting for Server Online Status via Agent and Collector

In addition to the existing unified online status, you can now create alerts based specifically on:

        • Agent-reported online status (connectivity from the device)
        • Collector-reported online status (connectivity to the device)

This enhancement gives you greater flexibility to:

        • Detect when a server can’t reach out (e.g., due to outbound firewall rules or loss of internet access)
        • Detect when a server can’t be reached by the collector (e.g., due to network segmentation or inbound policy changes)
        • Build targeted alerting for complex network topologies and segmented environments
    • Site Selector Dropdown Performance Improvements

We've significantly improved the performance of the Site Selector Dropdown by migrating it from Marionette to a modern React-based implementation. This update addresses the slowness—especially for customers with thousands of sites—by delivering faster rendering, smoother navigation, and better search responsiveness. Key enhancements include:

      • Faster load and interaction times for large site lists
      • Improved navigation with accurate site switching
      • Smarter search behavior that expands relevant site hierarchies
      • Expandable/collapsible multi-site structure for easier browsing

These improvements aim to streamline day-to-day usage and elevate the overall user experience.

    • Roles & Permissions UI Update

We’re excited to share that the updated Roles & Permissions UI is being re-released!

You may recall we first introduced this enhancement last month (May 3rd release notes). However, shortly after the launch, we identified a few issues that impacted the user experience. To ensure quality and reliability, we temporarily rolled back the update.

Since then, our team has resolved those issues, and we’re now confident in bringing the improved UI back to you.

In case you missed our original announcement, here’s a quick recap of what’s new:

      • A cleaner, more intuitive interface for managing user roles and permissions
      • Streamlined workflows to help you quickly assign and adjust access levels
      • Improved clarity around permission scopes and user capabilities

Thanks for your patience as we worked to refine this experience. If you have any feedback or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.

  • Known Issue
    • Windows Server 2025 Collector Installation via GUI

While Windows Server 2025 is supported for Auvik Collectors, we’ve identified issues with the GUI-based installation process on this operating system. We are actively working on a fix and will release updates in the coming days.

      Recommended Workaround:

In the meantime, please use the command-line installation method to deploy the Auvik Collector on Windows Server 2025:  Installing the Windows Collector Using the Command Line
