Auvik’s global view is a handy way to visualize all the sites you are managing.
The map shows each site’s location with a pin.

How to add sites to the map
For sites that are already running a registered instance of Auvik
Add a street address to their site record by logging into the site's instance of Auvik and updating the company settings.
For new sites
Fill out the street address in the site’s organization settings when you add the site.
Note: If your site location is remote and you don’t know the address of that location (which needs to specified in your site’s Settings > Organization > Address page, then follow the below steps:

Pan and zoom into the location of the site

Right click on that target location and click ‘Show address’
- For example:
- Alternatively if you know that the precise latitude and longitude, then use the same on Open StreetMap
- For example: if latitude & longitude values are 20.7786 & 105.3097, then use this URL https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?whereami=1&query=20.7786%2C105.3097#map=15/20.7786/105.3097
- Note: Remember to insert your location’s lat/long values
- Use the address that appears on the left pane to inout into Auvik’s Organization settings page.
How to use full-screen map view
To make the map full-screen, click the full-screen button () on the map. From the full-screen confirmation, check Remember decision for auvik.com and click Allow. You can always close the full-screen view by clicking the ESC key on your keyboard.
To ensure your session doesn’t time out while on large display, ensure that you set your session timeout accordingly.
How to access a site's network from the map
Hover over any pin to see the site's name. Click on any pin to access the site's network.
How to zoom in and out
Click the + tab in the top right corner of the map to zoom in see details. Click the - tab to zoom out.
You can also zoom in and out on the map by using pinch-to-zoom on trackpads or using the Command key (CTRL on PCs) and scrolling while the cursor is on the map.
