Overview
In some cases, you may need to update your Auvik tenant URL, subdomain (prefix), to reflect organizational changes such as rebranding or domain standardization.
These changes are supported but are not self-service and must be performed by Auvik Support.
What Can Be Changed
You can request updates to:
- URL (e.g.,
example.my.auvik.com) -
Domain prefix (e.g.,
example)
Important Notes
- The URL field may appear greyed out in the UI. This is expected and indicates the setting is not editable by users.
- All rename requests must be submitted through Auvik Support.
Service Impact
- A temporary service interruption may occur during the change window.
- Collector(s) will need to be re-pointed to the new URL/ Domain prefix.
- Depending on the collector's type, instructions may be different

How to Request a Rename
- Submit a request via the Auvik Support portal
- To process your request, include:
- Existing URL(s)
- Current tenant/site domain prefix, e.g
example - New tenant/site domain prefix, e.g
abcdef
You will be notified of the finalized schedule and any required actions before and after the change.
