4. Assign the Auvik Endpoint application to Groups
- Prior to finishing the App creation workflow, assign the Auvik Endpoint application to groups
- Following the Microsoft documentation, select the groups of endpoints you wish to deploy Auvik Endpoint to
Note: It is recommended to start with a subset of endpoints, and not all devices, with the initial deployment. Once testing is complete and the installation process is validated, you can proceed with adding additional groups to the policy.
5. Validate deployment is successful
It may take up to 24 hours for all devices to pick up the new application assignment. While you can look at the policy overview within Microsoft Intune it is recommended to watch the Endpoint -> Agent page to identify if the policy has been deployed correctly.
You will see devices appear in this screen showing Initializing and within 5-10 minutes they should update to check marks, showing a successful deployment.
After 24 hours, you can review the policy overview to determine if the deployment was successful on all devices.
