Export TrafficInsights Charts to PDF or SVG
You can now export charts from TrafficInsights, making it easier to package and share network traffic findings with stakeholders without requiring them to log in to Auvik.-
What options are available
Selected visuals: Choose which TrafficInsights charts to export.
Your current view, reflected: The export automatically uses your currently selected filters and timeframe, so it matches what you’re analyzing.
Stakeholder-friendly output: A single PDF or SVG per chart that you can share for reviews, planning discussions, and ongoing reporting.
-
Why it matters
TrafficInsights is frequently used to communicate what is using your bandwidth. A report or presentation with the exported charts makes it easier to turn that analysis into a clear artifact for non-technical stakeholders, leadership updates, or customer conversations.
The export feature is available by clicking the three vertical dots in the right corner of the top navigation bar on Applications, Protocols, Top N, or Geolocation pages.

Alerts v2 - Simplified alert creation: choose what to monitor, and Auvik picks the right alert type
Creating alerts is now faster and simpler. When you create a new alert, you only need to choose what you want to alert on, Auvik will automatically determine whether to create an Alerts v2 alert definition or a legacy alert definition. This helps you get monitoring in place quickly and get back to your work.
-
What’s new
Single “Create alert” button - One entry point to create alerts - no need to decide up front which alerting system to use.
One “Manage alerts” page with tabs for Alerts v2 and legacy - Alerts v2 definitions and legacy alert definitions are now organized in separate tabs on the same Manage Alerts page.
No impact to existing alert definitions - All existing alert definitions continue to work as they do today.
-
How it works
Alerts v2 is selected automatically when supported - When the trigger you choose is supported in Alerts v2, Auvik will create an Alerts v2 definition.
Legacy remains available when you need it - If you specifically want a legacy alert definition, start by choosing a legacy trigger, then change the trigger on the alert creation form to the trigger you actually want.
-
What this means for you
Faster alert setup with fewer decisions
This will be available in the first week of February.

Auvik Power BI Templates 2.0
Auvik 2.0 templates bring a series of fixes, updates and improvements. They respond to user feedback from previous versions, updates in business logic to better reflect the intent in the reporting, and also to improve performance - especially for larger tenants and longer reporting periods. This release introduces two template variants optimized for different use cases:
Auvik Power BI Template 2.0 (Full): includes all the reports and metrics.
Auvik Power BI Template 2.0 (Performance): Has all the improvements of the full 2.0 file, removing Device Performance Data to improve data load times, which can be relevant for larger reports.
Choose 2.0 (Full) if you want the most complete reporting and you’re okay with larger datasets / longer refresh times.
Choose 2.0 (Performance) if you want faster load/refresh times and don’t need device performance metrics.
What this means for you:
Power BI Template 2.0 makes Auvik reporting faster and reliable. It introduces a Performance template that can reduce “time to download a new report” by up to ~80% vs. v1.6 in some scenarios, while the updated business logic and UI improvements better reflect the intent in the reporting.

Absolute Occurrence Delay for Alerts v2
Alerts v2 is getting more flexible with a new Absolute Occurrence Delay option.
Soon, you’ll be able to configure alerts to trigger based on the number of times a condition occurs within a specified time period, in addition to Percentage of Occurrences. This allows alerts to trigger only after an issue happens a specific number of times, helping reduce noise from occasional or short-lived issues while still surfacing repeated problems.
This enhancement expands the types of alerting behavior Alerts v2 can support, including:
Flapping or transient conditions that are normal at low frequency
Situations where absolute counts are more meaningful than percentages
By giving you the choice between Percentage of Occurrences and Absolute Occurrence Delay, Alerts v2 can better match different monitoring needs, so alerts trigger when they truly matter.
