LAUNCHED! Datto cloud controller integration
Thanks to a new cloud controller integration with Datto, you’ll now enjoy better identification and deeper visibility into Datto’s DNW access points, and E and L series switches. The integration makes use of Datto’s API to collect information not readily available through SNMP.
The integration doesn’t currently support Datto DNA devices. We’re working with our friends at Datto to add this support.
CHANGED! Billing permissions
There used to be two available permission levels for Billing features: No Access and Access. But what if you wanted one of your users to see billing usage but not have the ability to modify credit card details?
We've done two things to the permissions on Billing features:
- Renamed the Access permission level to View.
- Added a permission level called Make Changes. Users with default and unmodified Super Admin roles will be automatically upgraded to the Make Changes level.
HEADS UP! ConnectWise Manage field limitations
We’ve discovered a few field limitations in ConnectWise Manage that can affect inventory sync with Auvik.
Model number field length: The field for model numbers on a ConnectWise Manage configuration record is limited to 50 characters. Characters over 50 are truncated.
IP address field: Previously, the default IP address field in a ConnectWise Manage configuration record allowed you to load more than one IP address. The field has recently changed to accept only a single IP address. We’ve documented a workaround to the limitation in our Knowledge Base.
