Northstar 2.0 (Enhanced Northstar feature)
- Northstar 2.0 builds on the existing Northstar feature by adding the ability to visualize
- Multiple paths: The Northstar 1.0 followed the defined parent of a node and didn’t take into consideration the edges in that lead to different paths. As part of 2.0, we will represent these paths in the Network Path. And users can pick and choose to render a specific path in the Northstar.
- Path between two devices: Northstar 1.0 also showed only path to the ‘Internet’. As part of 2.0 we will show paths across devices, i.e. from Device X to Device Y (within the site). Users can select the ‘Source’ and ‘Destination’ devices.
- For more details refer to How to use Northstar
- Northstar 2.0 builds on the existing Northstar feature by adding the ability to visualize
- Support for Sophos XG IPSEC VPN Tunnels. The tunnels page for Sophos devices will now populate with VPN tunnel data.

-
Bulk Collector to Subnet Assignment
-
Before this enhancement, if you had a large number of networks and wanted to manually set the assigned collectors it could have only been done one row at a time. To address this problem, we have enhanced the product UI to enable users to select multiple networks at a time in Discovery → Manage Networks and edit multiple/all at once to manually assign the assigned collectors. This greatly saves time and improves efficiency.
