Note: The network map has been removed from this page to provide additional space during administrative tasks such as managing alerts, users, settings, and integrations. To return to your network map, simply click Home Dashboard or All Sites in the Auvik side navigation.
There are a few changes you can make to your Auvik collector. You can:
- Download a new collector
- Approve the collector
- Reject the collector
- Edit the collector
- Delete collectors
The one thing you currently can’t do is remove old collector that you’re no longer using. That’s on our roadmap. For now, we recommend that you reject any collectors you’re no longer using and add a description so you can easily identify why it’s been rejected.
You can filter the list of collectors to show only certain collectors. For more information on filtering, see How to filter data in Auvik.

In the event that the system running your virtual machine for the Auvik collector dies on you, you can download a new collector.
Note: The collector should be assigned a static or reserved IP.

- Click on Add Auvik Collector
- To download a Windows service, click Install Collector on a Windows Device
- To set up a collector as a virtual appliance, click Set up Collector as a virtual appliance on VMWare
