How do I manage my collectors?

Follow

There are a few changes you can make to your Auvik collector. You can:

The one thing you currently can’t do is remove old collector that you’re no longer using. That’s on our roadmap. For now, we recommend that you reject any collectors you’re no longer using and add a description so you can easily identify why it’s been rejected.

You can filter the list of collectors to show only certain collectors. For more information on filtering, see How to filter data in Auvik.

New collector download

In the event that the system running your virtual machine for the Auvik collector dies on you, you can download a new collector.

  1. From the side navigation bar, click Auvik Collectors.
  2. Hover over Add Auvik Collector.
    1. To download a Windows service, click Download Windows Service.
    2. To download a new OVA file, click Download OVA
    3. To run the installer via a bash script, click Run Installer (advanced).

Follow the instructions below for getting your new collector up and running.

How to edit collectors

  3. Click the Delete button.
