How to change the default field mapping for Auvik - ServiceNow CMDB integration

You can add, edit or remove attribute mappings to customize the integration to meet your organization’s needs.

You can change the default device field mapping by editing the ETL transform map, CMDB Application: SG-Auvik, in the ServiceNow IntegrationHub ETL.

  1. Navigate to IntegrationHub ETL in ServiceNow.
  2. Click on  CMDB Application: SG-Auvik.
  3. Click on Auvik Devices.
  4. Click on Select CMDB Classes to Map Source Data.
  5. Edit the field mapping (Edit Mapping) to add, edit or remove field mappings.
  6. Click Mark as Complete.
  7. Test the changes by clicking on Test and Rollback Integration Results.
  8. Perform a one-time full sync device import (see How to manually run a device or tenant sync for Auvik / ServiceNow CMDB integration?).

If you need an import set to transform the existing fields and test the changes

  1. In ServiceNow, navigate to Service Graph Connector -> Auvik -> Data Sources.
  2. Click on the desired device scheduled data import.
    • Default Auvik connection: The scheduled data import name is SG-Auvik Devices.
    • Other Auvik connections: The scheduled data import name follows the format: SG-Auvik Devices - <connection name>.  
  3. Change the application scope to Service Graph Connector for Auvik
  4. Click Related Links -> Test Load 20 Records or Related Links -> Load All Records.
