Enable SNMP and Login for Ubiquiti UniFi Controller

Enable Login on UniFi portal

This setup is using the recent version of UniFi Portal (9.3.45)

1. Access your UniFi Portal
2. Left Navigation > UniFi Devices > Device Update and Settings (Located in the top right, under profile)
   
3. Go to Device Settings > Enable Device SSH Authentication
4. Add Username and Password

5. Apply Changes

Add Unifi Login Credentials to your Auvik site

1. Log into your Auvik site

2. Go to Admin

   

3. Click on Discovery
4. Click on Manage Credentials

5. Click on Login Credentials

   

6. Add Login Credentials

   

7. Enter login credentials for your device
8. Click Save 

Enable SNMP on UniFi portal

This setup is using version of UniFi Portal 9.3.45+

1. Access your UniFi Portal

2. Left Navigation > Settings > System > CyberSecure > Traffic Logging

   

3. Enable SNMP Monitoring
4. Choose Version 1/2C or Version 3
   • For Version 3 skip to step 6
5. For Version 2c, Add your Community String
   • Skip step 6

6. For Version 3, Enter the following:

   • Username:
   • Password:

   Note: Authentication is SHA and Privacy is AES-128 by default, these cannot be changed.

7. Apply Changes

Add Unifi SNMP Credentials to your Auvik site

1. Log into your Auvik site

2. Go to Admin

   

3. Click on Discovery

4. Click on Manage Credentials

   

5. Click on SNMP Credentials

6. Click Add SNMP Credentials

   

7. Enter credentials for your device
8. Click Save
