Why doesn’t my Zyxel device show any statistics?

If you have Zyxel devices managed from the Nebula Control Center (NCC) which show a green checkmark but still don’t show the device details or statistics, please be advised that ZyXel devices in Nebula mode will not respond to any SNMP polling requests from third-party devices (such as the Auvik collector) unless they are on the same subnet.

Assuming the collector is not on the same subnet as your devices, there are two options to fix that: 

  1. Establish a VPN connection to the Nebula Security Gateway, which would then allow Auvik to poll the devices via SNMP
  2. Set the device to standalone mode

If neither of those options is feasible, Auvik will not be able to poll the device for SNMP data.
