How do I use a non-standard HTTP/HTTPS port to connect to remote devices?

Follow

Auvik enables ports 80 and 443 for remote browser connections by default, but there are cases where a non-standard port will be required to connect to a device. In order to add new ports to remote browser connections, do the following:

  1. Navigate to Inventory > All Services.
  2. Select the box beside either HTTP or HTTPS and click Edit.
  3. Under Select a Port click on the “+” icon, and add the desired port. The example below shows HTTPS.Screen_Shot_2020-07-27_at_13.05.55.png
  4. Click Save.

Auvik will start monitoring the availability of the port. On subsequent attempts to connect to a device via Remote Browser, the new port will appear as an eligible option if that device has an available web server available on that port.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the newly added port to be available as an option for Remote Browser.
