Note: This article applies to customers on an Auvik Network Management plan that includes the ability to have different capabilities on different sites. The ability to manage site types is only available to partners on a plan that supports Performance. If you’d like to gain access to site types, contact your partner success manager.

Note: when changing site types from performance to essentials mid-way through a billing cycle. the change will not take effect until the next cycle.
How to change a site type
Client types can only be changed from the global view or a multi-site view.
- In the displayed list of sites, check the box beside the site you wish to modify.
- Click the Change Site Type
- From the site type dropdown, select the new site type you’d like: Essentials or Performance.
- Click Next.
- Confirm the site type change by clicking Submit. Otherwise, click Previous to change your selection. If at any point you’d like to cancel your selection, click the X in the top right of the modal.
