How do I create my user account in Auvik?

Follow

Before you can log into Auvik, you must have a valid user account. To have a valid user account, you must have been invited to at least one active Auvik account.

An administrator on your account can submit an invitation request for you—this sends you an email to accept the invitation and create your user account. Once you’ve received the email, click Accept the invitation, or copy and paste the link into your browser address bar.

After accepting the invitation, you can create your new user one of three ways:

Create a user with a set password

  1. From the user setup screen, enter your first and last name.

  2. Enter a password. Retype the password.
    Your password must contain:

    • One or more numbers

    • One or more lowercase letters

    • One or more uppercase letters

    • One or more special characters

    • Can't use the last 4 passwords

    • Must be at least 16 characters

  3. Click Create User.

  4. You’ll be asked to set up two-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA is mandatory when logging into Auvik with a username and password. See Log in using Auvik's two-factor authentication for detailed instructions.

  5. You’ll be taken to the account you’ve been authorized on.

If you later decide later you’d like to associate your Auvik user with either your Google-authorized account, or your Microsoft Office 365-authorized account, you can do so at a later date.

Create a user with a Google-authorized account

  1. From the user setup screen, click Log In With Google.

  2. Make sure you’re logged into your Google account.

  3. You’ll be asked to allow Auvik access to your Google account for verifying login credentials. Click Allow access.

  4. You’ll be taken to the account you’ve been authorized on.

Create a user with a Microsoft Office 365-authorized account

  1. From the user setup screen, click Log In With Microsoft.

  2. Make sure you’re logged into your Microsoft Office 365 account.

  3. You’ll be asked to allow Auvik access to your Microsoft Office 365 account for verifying login credentials.

  4. Check Consent on behalf of your organization and click Accept.

  5. You’ll be taken to the account you’ve been authorized on.
