• On the geo map we have introduced two new setting options to remember your desired zoom level and map size. These settings will help preserve your desired options between manual refresh and login sessions. Prior to this when you did manual refresh or started a new session, the geo map would go back to the factory settings. With these options you can choose your desired zoom level and map size (move the divider pane at bottom up or down to set the size) and then select these options. This would provide a better user experience as you don’t have to redo these steps every time. This is also a great use case in case you are projecting the geo map on your large display or NOC TV.

  • Remember map size
    

'Inventory -> All Devices' UI page load performance improvement at top level.

• This enhancement significantly improves the loading speed of the page, providing a noticeably faster and smoother experience. Users with instances containing a high number of devices will particularly benefit from the reduced load times, enhancing overall efficiency.

Alerting Webhook Enhancements

• You can now send Auvik’s alert notifications to more third-party systems using the enhanced alerting webhook.

  • Custom HTTP headers - Add custom headers for 3rd paty APIs that have mandatory HTTP header requirements.

  • Authentication - Add authentication for 3rd party APIs that require authentication including basic authentication and OAuth 2.0.

  • Custom payload format - Customize the payload for 3rd party systems that have strict payload formats.

Alerting 2.0 Improvement

• You can easily alert on just VPN remote gateway checks by selecting the VPN Service service type when creating an alert.
