General Release

Auvik Network Management (4)
  • Improved
    • Aggregate email notifications in Alerting 2.0 beta to get a summary of alert events. You can choose to have email notifications sent immediately or aggregated over 15 mins, 1 hour or 1 day.
    • Usage API improvements :
      • Technology partners and customer developers who integrate Auvik with their billing system use Auvik’s billing usage API. This API is now enhanced to include Auvik SaaS Management (ASM) usage as well (if you’ve subscribed to that product as well along with ANM)

      • There is no change to the API request body or parameters (i.e, there are no breaking changes hence you don’t have to change any of your existing implementations)

      • The updates are in API response, with additional fields added as below:

        • Attributes

          • asmUserUsage

            • totalAsmUsers

        • Relationships

          • asmUsers

            • List of asm user id

  • Fixed
    • Auvik fixed some identification logic that prevents devices with valid SNMP data from being identified as virtual machines.

  • Coming Soon
    • Alerting 2.0 will be moving out of beta soon. You can start moving alerts supported by Alerting 2.0 over and leverage the new capabilities such as complex trigger conditions, alert delay and site level suppression. More enhancements are on the way!

    • Soon, you will be able to dismiss alerts in the Alerting 2.0 that don’t have a clear condition. You can do that in the Auvik UI, API or one of the integrations that support a bi-directional sync.

    • You will be to alert on cloud ping checks in Alerting 2.0. Leverage one of the alert delays in Alerting 2.0 to get notifications when action is really required.

    • In Alerting 2.0, you will be able to see how many entities have been selected when you create a tag or when you select entities in the alert creation form. This will help you easily identify errors selecting entities.

    • Coming soon, you’ll be able to move sites under multi-sites as your business and organization grows. Go to All Sites and move an existing site to a new multi-site.

    • Fan and Power supply component status widgets will be available, and soon to follow alerts based on state for Auvik Essentials and Performance.

Auvik SaaS Management (9)
  • New
    • Users can now customize the columns within the application view to see only the data that is most relevant to their use case. Users can show/hide columns within the applications table in order to provide the most value for the particular problem they’re looking to solve.

    • Customizable columns are available as parameters within the URL of the page, so that specific views of data can be easily shared with other ASM users.
  • Improved
    • The “Classified” and “Unclassified” tabs within the applications menu have been consolidated into a single unified menu called “Application Inventory”. This change will make it easier to search, export, and filter applications from a single unified view, where previously users may have needed to swap between different tabs to find the desired app.

    • A new column has been added to the applications table, as an additional way users can filter their classified and unclassified applications.

    • The bulk classification experience has been re-worked to provide a more streamlined experience across Auvik products, and an easier way to classify apps in deployments with many discovered applications. The option to classify applications in bulk has been moved to the top of the applications menu next to the search bar.
    • A new card has been added at the top of the Application Inventory menu that allows users to quickly filter the application inventory to show classified or unclassified applications.

    • (SaaS Ops Beta) - MSPs can now centrally manage all SaaS Ops-related integrations in a single view. Previously, users would need to manually set up each integration within a client’s deployment of ASM. Management of integrations has now been centralized under the Org Preferences > Integrations menu, with the ability to easily manage integrations for each client at scale.

  • Fixed
    • Resolved an issue in which the first user deployed on a client tenant could be granted a role different than the custom default role or “No UI Access”.

    • (SaaS Ops Beta) Updated automated offboarding instructions for several key integrations for improved clarity.
