What’s the difference between reports and data exports?

Data exports give you data about your network and the associated devices. For example, data exports can give you a complete list of all your network entities, or details about one specific entity.

Reports give you data based on a specific grouping of devices. The All Printers report, for example, contains details for all your network printers. This saves you from having to run a data export on each printer individually, and then merging the detail together.

How to run a report

  1. Click Documentation in the side navigation bar. Click Reports.
  2. In the displayed list of reports, find the one you want to run. Click the Export button at the end of its row.

If you want, you can view the report before exporting it. You’ll be able to see a high-level summary of the report’s contents including how many devices are being reported on and how many alerts have been received.

  2. In the displayed list of reports, find the one you want you want to see the summary for. Click the reports row.
