Recovering a forgotten password

If you forget your Auvik password, you can set a new one.

If you originally linked your Auvik account with Google or Microsoft Office 365, and never set a password within Auvik, we recommend changing your password with these applications. But if you’d like to have a backup password, you can set a password on your user where one didn’t previously exist.

1. From the Auvik login screen, click Forgot Your Password?
2. Enter the email address associated with your Auvik user.
3. Click Reset My Password.
4. Check your inbox for the email on resetting your password. If you don’t receive this email, check your spam or junk folders to make sure it didn't get lost.
5. Click the Reset my password link contained in the email.
6. Enter a new password. Retype the new password.
   Your password must include:
   

   • One or more numbers

   • One or more lowercase letters

   • One or more uppercase letters

   • One or more special characters

   • Can't use the last 4 passwords

   • Must be at least 16 characters

7. Click Reset My Password.
8. From the Auvik login screen, enter your email address and password.
9. Click the Log In button.
