Important: Subscriptions cannot be cancelled during the active subscription term except in the limited circumstances outlined in the applicable Subscription Services Agreement and your order form.
Reducing your device count to 0 does not cancel your account or payments
Important billing information
Removing your sites, tenants, collectors, or devices does not cancel your subscription or stop billing. Charges continue according to your agreement until Auvik confirms the applicable cancellation or non-renewal date.
Cancellation notice requirements
Auvik’s standard cancellation notice period is 30 days before the start of your next billing period. Your specific cancellation terms may vary based on your agreement.
To confirm the requirements for your account:
- Review your signed order form, if applicable.
- Review the Auvik Subscription Services Agreement.
- Contact your Customer Success Manager.
- Email success@auvik.com.
If you subscribed directly through the Auvik website and do not have a signed order form, the standard cancellation notice period is 30 days before your next billing period.
How to request cancellation
Contact the Auvik Customer Success team to:
- Cancel your subscription at the end of its current term.
- Schedule non-renewal.
- Review your cancellation terms.
- Confirm the effective cancellation date.
- Discuss any special timing requirements.
Include:
- Your Auvik domain name.
- Company name.
- Account or subscription ID, if available.
- Requested cancellation or non-renewal date.
- Primary contact name and email address.
- Any special instructions or documentation requirements.
How to submit a formal non-renewal request
If you want your subscription to end at the close of its current term and do not want it to renew, submit the Cancellation Request Form.
- Open and submit the Cancellation Request Form.
- Select the option indicating that you want to non-renew at the end of the term or cancel at renewal.
- Provide:
- Account or subscription ID and company name.
- The end-of-term date listed in your agreement.
- The requester’s name, title, and contact email address.
- Any required internal reference, such as a purchase order or case number.
- A formal non-renewal letter, if required by your organization.
Submit the request before the applicable notice deadline. Your agreement may require advance notice before the renewal date.
Auvik will review the request and reply in writing with the applicable cancellation or non-renewal date. Until Auvik confirms the request, the subscription remains subject to the existing agreement and renewal terms.
If you are close to the renewal date, submit the form immediately and contact Customer Success or Support with your account details to identify the request as time-sensitive.
What the confirmation may include
The written confirmation may include:
- The confirmed subscription termination date.
- Whether the subscription will renew.
- The date billing is expected to stop under the applicable agreement.
- Information about access through the termination date.
- Details about final invoices, outstanding balances, or applicable credits.
How your end date is determined
Cancellations generally take effect at the end of the current billing term, subject to your agreement and applicable notice requirements.
If you request a different date, include it in the cancellation request. Auvik will confirm whether that date is available under your agreement.
Billing continues through the confirmed cancellation date. Outstanding balances, charges incurred before the end date, and applicable taxes may still appear on the final invoice.
Tracking your request
After submitting your request:
- Watch for a confirmation email from Auvik.
- Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see a response.
- Keep the email address, submission date, and account details associated with the request.
If you need an update, contact Support or Customer Success and provide:
- The email address used for the request.
- The date and approximate time the request was submitted.
- Your account or subscription ID.
- Your company name.
Before service ends
Before the confirmed cancellation date:
- Export any reports, documentation, or other data you need to retain.
- Download any invoices or billing records required for your records.
- Confirm that administrators and other stakeholders understand the planned service end date.
- Review any integrations, collectors, or notification workflows that should be removed after service ends.
What happens after cancellation?
Auvik will confirm the applicable cancellation or non-renewal date. Until that date, charges continue according to your agreement.
Removing sites, tenants, collectors, or devices before the confirmed cancellation date may stop monitoring for those items, but it does not by itself end the subscription or prevent applicable invoices.
