If you need help from Auvik support on an issue, the quickest way for us to investigate is to log into your account with read-only access. Here, we show you how to make that happen.

How to enable Auvik support access
Enabling Auvik support access from your MSP dashboard enables it for all clients.
To enable Auvik support access for a specific client, enable it from the client’s dashboard.
- From the MSP dashboard, click Settings in the side navigation bar.
- Click Auvik Support.
- Check Support access enabled for all clients.
- Select the appropriate support access level:
- Read-only (restricted read-only access, unable to make changes)
- Admin (restricted access, can make some changes)
- Click Save.
How to edit Auvik support access
Editing Auvik’s support access level from your MSP dashboard edits the access level for all your clients. To edit the support access level for a specific client, make the edits from that client’s dashboard.
- From the MSP dashboard, click Settings in the side navigation bar.
- Click Auvik Support.
- Select to change the access level granted.
- Click Save.
How to reset Auvik support access
Resetting Auvik support access from your MSP dashboard resets it to the default: enabled read-only access. To reset Auvik support access for a specific client, make the edit from that client’s dashboard.
- From the MSP dashboard, click Settings in the side navigation bar.
- Click Auvik Support.
- Click Reset.
- Confirm the reset by clicking Reset.
How to disable Auvik support access
Disabling Auvik support access from your MSP dashboard disables access for all your clients. To disable Auvik support access for a specific client, make the edit from that client’s dashboard.
- From the MSP dashboard, click Settings in the side navigation bar.
- Click Auvik Support.
- Uncheck Support access enabled for all clients.
- Click Save.
If an individual client has a different access level at the time you globally disable support access through your MSP dashboard, the client’s settings ignore the disable command from the MSP.
At any time, from your MSP dashboard, you can see which clients allow which support access levels. If any clients still have Auvik support access enabled, click the company name to be taken to that client’s dashboard and disable support access there.
