ENHANCED! Send test alert

You can now send a test alert to a configured notification channel without having to trigger an existing alert or manually create a new alert that is easily triggered. This feature is compatible with any notification channel type except for the map. You can check this article to learn more.

IMPROVED! Device identification

We’ve improved device identification for 24 L3 switch and L2 switch models from Cisco, Dell, EnGenius, Extreme, H3C, HPE, Huawei, Lenovo, Linksys, Phoenix, Ruckus, and TP-Link; 6 routers from Cisco, Fortinet, Moxa, and NetVanta; 5 firewalls from Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto; an access point from StarPlus; and several printers including models from Canon AccurioPress, Colorwave, Epson, FujiFilm, Honeywell, Sharp, and Xerox.

ENHANCED! SNMPv3 authentication

We've added additional secure authentication methods for SNMPv3. Authentications now will include SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, and SHA-512.

IMPROVED! SNMP poller history API

Auvik users can now leverage the API to gather historical OID values for their custom reports. The API allows more value of showcasing the historical data within their custom reports for capacity planning, and troubleshooting inidents faster than before within Auvik.
