Available only in Alerts 2.0
To set up alerts for collector metrics, such as:
| Hardware Status | CPU, Memory, and Disk utilization for the machine where each collector is installed indicating the Host resource utilization |
| Monitoring | The number of Sites, Devices, and Interfaces monitored by each collector, indicating the Monitoring load. |
- Go to Admin
- Click Manage Alerts
- Click New Alerts
Choose your desired metric, for example CPU
- Type an Alert Name
- Type a description for the alert
- Specify option for Apply alerts to the following organizations
- Define the Alert Severity
- Specify any additional trigger conditions.

- Select Group Shared Collector Alerts (optional)
- Set a Trigger message,

You can use various alert variables, such as:
$collector.hostname
$collector.privateIPAddress
$stats.sites
$stats.devices
$stats.interfaces
$stats.agentCpuUsagePercent
$stats.agentMemoryUsagePercent
$stats.hostDiskUsagePercent
- If desired, set an Alert delay
- If desired, set any Notifications
- Set the Clear Condition and Alert clear delay
