How to view configuration items in ServiceNow CMDB created by Auvik

You may want to view Configuration Items (CIs) created by Auvik in ServiceNow CMDB to verify or troubleshoot the integration. You can view the CIs using one of these options:

• CMDB Workspace
• CI Class Manager

CMDB Workspace

1. In ServiceNow navigate to the CMDB Workspace.
2. (Optional) If you have domain separation activated, change the domain scope to where the CIs are mapped to.
3. Click on Use conditional search instead under Intelligent Search.
4. Add a condition for Discovery source is SG-Auvik.
5. Click Search.

CI Class Manager

1. In ServiceNow navigate to the CI Class Manager.
2. (Optional) If you have domain separation activated, change the domain scope to where the CIs are mapped to.
3. Click Open Hierarchy
4. Enter the CI class that you want to view CIs for in the search box.
5. Select the CI class that you want to view CIs for.
6. Click on CI List.
7. Add a filter for Discovery source is SG-Auvik.
8. Click Run.
