HEADS UP! Updates to alert specification ID fields in Alerts History API

We’re deprecating the “specificationId” field in the Read Multiple Alerts' Info and Read Single Alert's Info API endpoints and the “alertSpecificationId filter” in the Read Multiple Alerts' Info API endpoint.

They’re being replaced with “alertSpecificationId” field and “alertDefinitionId” in preparation for enhancements to our alerting system.

The deprecated fields will be removed after April 30, 2022.

IMPROVED! Device identification

We’ve improved device identification for 12 switches, two L3 switches, seven new routers, and three firewalls including: switches from Alcatel-Lucent, Aruba Networks, and Juniper Networks, Moxa Axis and Redline gateways, F5 BIG-IP packet processors, Cambium EPMP Force Wireless access points, and printers from Konica Minolta, Sharp, and Xerox.

ENHANCED! WMI polling frequency

We’ve improved the WMI polling frequency to remove stale data from devices, specifically for CPU memory and IP data.
