Auvik now provides customers with the ability to enable or disable features within the Auvik platform. Features such as Server Monitoring and Endpoint Monitoring can now be enabled and disabled directly from the Feature Enablement page, streamlining their experience and reducing UI clutter for those who do not use specific features.
The Feature Enablement page can be accessed through your global dashboard by users with Edit access by:
- Go to Settings
- Click Feature Enablement
Customers can enable a 14 day trial of Server Monitoring and Endpoint Monitoring by clicking the Start Trial button found on the Feature Enablement page or from Endpoint > Agents page and clicking Deploy Agent.
Both of these locations will prompt administrators to review and accept the Terms Acceptance.
“When you deploy our server and endpoint monitoring add-ons, servers and workstations (endpoints) are billable assets. After you accept these terms, a 14-day trial will begin. You won’t be charged for these assets before your trial ends. After that, servers and workstations with the agent still deployed will be billed as overage in arrears at your current billing frequency at the following rate: (rates displayed in chart)”
“[ ] By clicking Accept & Continue, I agree to have the Server Monitoring and Endpoint Monitoring add-ons added to my Auvik subscription and, after that trial period, billed as described above, subject to the Auvik terms of service here.”
Once you have clicked Accept & Continue you will be prompted to download and deploy the endpoint agent.
Note: You will start being billed for these add-on features on day 15 if you still have agents deployed or have not disabled the add-ons from the Feature Enablement page.
