How can we help?

2020W50 release - December 12, 2020

NOTICE! Removing support for Linux collectors on Ubuntu 14.04

Ubuntu 14.04 reached the end of standard support in April 2019. On Sep 21, 2019, we removed support for Linux collectors running on Ubuntu 14.04.

Linux collectors running on Ubuntu 14.04 will officially stop working on Dec 31, 2020. You can now deploy the Auvik collector on Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Beaver) by downloading and deploying an OVA.

We recommend replacing Ubuntu 14.04-based collectors as soon as possible to make sure your collectors continue to receive security updates for the underlying operating system.

NOTICE! Removing direct support for AuthAnvil 2FA

AuthAnvil 2FA will no longer work in Auvik on Mar 6, 2021. We recommend you set up single sign-on in Auvik or switch to Auvik 2FA.

HEADS UP! No W52 release

Auvik usually releases upgrades every two weeks. But we understand the holidays are a time of reflection and relaxation—and for many, a freeze on changes made to networks.

To minimize changes, we’ll be skipping the deployment of new features in what would be our week 52 release at the end of December. Instead on Sat, Dec 26 at the regular 7 a.m. ET, we’ll do some light infrastructure maintenance. This will consist of a quick reboot of the system, which will result in a brief disruption to monitoring.

Our next release with new features and bug fixes will be in the second week of January 2021.
