How to set up your Auvik user account for Power BI

To set up your Auvik user account in Power BI, you’ll need the following items:

• An Auvik user email address
• The API key for that user 

The Auvik account being used in Power BI has some specific configuration requirements that have to be carefully reviewed:

1. The Auvik user account should have access to the main account and to every site under the main account.  
2. The Auvik user should have either Super Admin or API Access Only roles for all of the sites. The user can have a mix of Super Admin and API Access Only roles, but it can’t have any other role other than those two for any of the sites. 

Note: If a user fails to meet both of these configuration requirements, you may see an error message similar to the one in Authentication Issues in Power BI.
