ENHANCED! Inventory API
The new Cisco lifecycle data added in 2019W42 is now available in Auvik’s Inventory API. This includes the end of sale date, when Cisco will stop offering software updates, when they’ll stop patching vulnerabilities, and the deadline for attaching new service contracts.
BETA! Usage data API
Client and billable device usage data has been added to the Auvik API. The new data includes totals and averages for specified clients and devices, which can help you automate your business processes and create custom reports.
HEADS UP! No W52 release
Auvik usually releases upgrades every two weeks. But we understand the holidays are a time of reflection and relaxation—and for many, a freeze on changes made on client networks. To minimize changes, we’ll be skipping the deployment of new features in what would be our week 52 release at the end of December. Instead on Saturday, December 28 at the regular 7 a.m. ET time, we’ll do some light infrastructure maintenance. This will consist of a quick reboot of the system, which will result in a brief disruption to monitoring.
Our next release with new features and bug fixes will be in the second week of January 2020.
