  • Improved
    • You can alert on cloud ping checks in Alerting 2.0. Leverage one of the alert delays in Alerting 2.0 to get notifications when action is really required. This will be available October 31st.
    • You can now alert on specific interfaces in Alerting 2.0 interface alerts based on the interface name, a partial match on the interface name or a partial match on the interface description. This enables you to create interface alerts to monitor specific interfaces, such as the external interfaces on a gateway.
  • Fixed
    • Resolved an issue with Ubiquiti switches and flapping device identification details.
    • Resolved an issue with Meraki Switch Stacking
  • Coming Soon
    • Interface notification variables can be used to added to Alerting 2.0 trigger and clear notifications of interface alerts to help provide more context for troubleshooting.

    • Legacy out-of-the-box service alerts can be created in Alerting 2.0 as custom alerts, so that new alerting 2.0 capabilities can be leveraged to build better alerts.

    • In Alerting 2.0, interface alerts on specific interfaces can be created based on the IP address and MAC address.

    • You can see the definition of tags when you are creating and edit 2.0 alerts, so that you don’t have to go to Manage Tags to determine what the tag means.
The interface of the alert delay section will be improved to make it easier to use.

    • You can see how many entities have been selected when you create a tag or when you select entities in the alert 2.0 creation form. This will help you easily identify errors selecting entities.

    • Users will be able to create alerts in the new alert system based on VPN tunnel status, Fan Component Status and Power Supply status for supported Cisco and HPE devices.

    • "Inventory -> All Devices" UI page load performance improvement at top level. With this improvement users will see that this page will load faster. Especially if your instance has very high device count you would notice the difference in experience in terms of reduced load time.
