General Release

Auvik Network Management (10)
  • Improved
    • Alerting 2.0 is out of beta on October 8. (Dismiss alerts will be updated October 10.) You can start moving alerts supported by Alerting 2.0 over and leverage the new capabilities to reduce notifications to what you need.

      • Use complex trigger conditions, alert delay (wait until a condition persists for a specified period of time or it happens so many times in a specified period) and site level suppression to receive notifications for events that matter.

      • Easily select the devices that you want to alert on using the new UI and re-use those selections with tags.

      • You can dismiss alerts in Alerting 2.0 that don’t have a clear condition. You can do that in the Auvik UI, API or one of the integrations that support a bi-directional sync.

      • More enhancements, including more alert triggers and notification variables, are on the way!

      • Alerting 1.0 is still available and your existing alerts are not affected.

    • Improved site management. You can now move sites under multi-sites as your business and organization grows. Go to All Sites and move an existing site to a new multi-site. This will be available on October 8.

  • Fixed
    • Issues with SNMP polling have been identified and resolved by engineering. The fix will be slowly rolled out to clusters and tenants after the release.

  • Coming Soon
    • You will be able to alert on cloud ping checks in Alerting 2.0. Leverage one of the alert delays in Alerting 2.0 to get notifications when action is really required.
    • You can see how many entities have been selected when you create a tag or when you select entities in the alert creation form. This will help you easily identify errors selecting entities.

Auvik SaaS Management (6)
  • Improved
    • Partner-Level Tags has been released to help MSPs manage their application stack more efficiently at scale across many different deployments. With this update, adding tags at the partner level within the application stack menu will now propagate to all clients. (Though you can still manage them on a client-by-client basis as well). Tags can be added from the Application Stack menu, and within Partner Hub > Org Preferences > Utilities. Partner-level tags are a flexible, multi-functional tool that helps users tailor reporting and alerting to fit their unique needs.
      • You can use tags to:
        • Identify Revenue Opportunities: MSPs can easily report/alert across all clients on apps that identify potential revenue-generating opportunities. For example, if an MSP resells a cybersecurity product and ASM discovers a competing cybersecurity product in a client or prospect’s environment, they can receive an alert for a team member to reach out.
        • Streamline Compliance Management: MSPs can better manage compliance at scale by tagging applications that contain PII or need to meet specific security requirements, ensuring consistent oversight across all deployments, without having to manage tags for each client.
        • Enhance QBR/Tech Reviews: Partner-level tags can be used to generate key talking points during QBRs or Tech Review meetings for all clients. For instance, MSPs can tag new AI applications to make sure they are discussing potential risks and compliance concerns, or can tag certain common shadow IT apps that may require attention.
        • Added support for user_lastUsedAfter and user_lastUsedBefore querying in the Auvik SaaS Management API. This allows the user to programmatically filter the number of active users for each app based on date.

    • Users can now centrally manage Identity Management integrations within the Org Preferences > Integrations > Clients menu.

    • Added Publisher/Company data for a significant number of newly discovered applications. This allows users to filter data more easily based on the company who’s created an application.

    • Pagination has been added to all Auvik SaaS Management APIs

  • Fixed
    • Resolved an issue in which some screen when loading would not show the proper table name.

  • Coming Soon
    • (Beta) SaaS Ops - Users will be able to customize off-boarding workflows to optimize their automation to meet their needs across all integrated applications. This initiative will include the ability to modify the way an off-board occurs, including setting forwards on a user’s mailbox, migrating shared files, and similar.
