Auvik comes preconfigured with more than 50 alerts. Any of these alerts can be edited, though there are some for which you can’t edit the trigger and clear conditions. That’s to prevent the creation of logic errors or endless loops that can cause the alerts to misfire.
You can also add your own alerts to customize Auvik to your environment.
Whether creating your own alerts, or modifying preconfigured alerts, you can include a variable in the alert description. The variable provides more detail about the device or interface that triggered the alert.
You can filter the alerts list to show only certain alerts. For more information on filtering, see How to filter data in Auvik.
For details on a specific preconfigured alert, please refer to List of Preconfigured Alerts and Default Settings for Each.
